I was born in Texas, about 25 years ago. As a child, my mother thought I would be a writer, and it held true until I was about 9. When I was 9, I became horse obsessed and started drawing them. It was just a phase, and I quit drawing until I was in high school. I met a girl, Silver, who was kind enough to show me that I could still draw.

I began drawing personas that I thought up for RPGs (Roleplaying Games).  Over the years between, I have began to explore other areas. In 1999, I started pursuing a sociology degree. I soon decided that it wasn't for me. I took  one Drawing class and found my path. I've been on that road ever since. And I LOVE IT!

Now I'm about to obtain my Associates in Fine Arts, and am looking at finishing my Bachelors at Stephen F. Austin State University.

Some of my inspirations are: My Fiance', Matisse, Alphonse Maria Mucha, Joseph M. Linsner, Masamune Shirow, Salvador Larocca (X-treme X-men), Vargas, Albrecht Durer, Brom, Brian Froud, Fred Perry and Brett Booth(Backlash, Kindred, WildCore, Thundercats:Dogs of War).

I'm sure some of you don't recognize the names of some of those artists. They come from a variety of times and places and styles. Linsner, Larocca, and Booth are all comic book artists. Mucha was prominent in the Art Noveau movement. Matisse is well-known in the art world as a friend/rival to Picasso. Shirow is famous among the Japanese Animation (Anime) genre, where he has worked on a variety of stories. Perry falls in between the realms of comics and Anime, with his fantastic series, Gold Digger. Vargas made a name for himself painting scantily clad or naked women during the 1940s and 50s. Much of his work made it into the backpacks of service men, who used them to remember what they were fighting for. Durer was prominent in the Northern Renaissance, and is well known for his delicate understanding of lights and darks.

There are a thousand others, but these are the most prominent.

I hope I haven't bored you guys. I'm glad that you stopped by.
